About the position We are looking for you with nursing assistant training and knowledge of Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as a Class B driver's license. Advantageous qualifications include training as an ambulance paramedic/acute care as well as knowledge of Finnish and a Class C driver's license. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. As a person, you adapt easily to changed circumstances. You are calm, stable and composed in stressful or pressured situations. You plan, organize and prioritize your work efficiently. You see the bigger picture and take the broader perspective into account. You have good teamwork skills as you recognize the value of cooperation with others and are communicative. What you will be doing As an ambulance paramedic at Pajala ambulance station, you work together with a licensed nurse in ambulance services. The work involves driving the ambulance, assisting in acute patient care and treatment, and supporting the nurse in prehospital work. You participate in patient care, observation and nursing, and together with your colleague are responsible for ensuring that the ambulance, equipment and daily readiness are in good condition. The work is varied and involves meeting patients in many different situations, both during emergency calls and transports.
