About You
We are looking for you who is trained as a nurse assistant. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and hold a class B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have training or experience in ambulance care or emergency care. We also view positively knowledge of Finnish as well as holding a class C driver's license.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are stable, flexible, and have good collaborative skills. You are also communicative and contribute to professional treatment of patients, relatives, and colleagues.
Your Role
As a paramedic at the Överkalix ambulance station, you work together with a licensed nurse in ambulance care. The work involves driving an ambulance, assisting in acute patient care and treatment, and supporting the nurse in prehospital work.
You participate in patient care, observation, and nursing, and together with your colleague are responsible for keeping the ambulance, equipment, and daily readiness in good condition. The work is varied and involves meeting patients in many different situations, both in acute assignments and during transports.

About the Position
We offer a permanent full-time position with working hours arranged in half-day shifts. Start date is November 1, 2026, or by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
