Make a difference. Every day. Would you like a job where no two days are the same? Where your expertise, judgment, and compassion can be decisive in people's most vulnerable moments? We are now recruiting nurses and ambulance nurses to our teams in Helsingborg, Landskrona, Ängelholm, and Perstorp. With us, you'll have the opportunity to work in a developing operation where high medical expertise is combined with strong teamwork and a shared focus on providing patients with safe and secure care. Ambulance services are often first on scene when it really matters. We meet people in all stages and situations of life, from acute illness and accidents to care and support in the patient's home environment. As a nurse or ambulance nurse, you'll have varied, independent, and meaningful work where you make a difference every day. Operational Area Ambulance is responsible for ambulance services in northwestern and southwestern Scania and comprises approximately 440 employees distributed across eleven ambulance stations. We work based on common treatment guidelines, conduct continuous competence development work, and maintain close collaboration throughout the operation to ensure high quality and equitable care. With us, you'll become part of an operation that is constantly evolving. We invest in education, competence development, and quality assurance, which provides excellent opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. 3 position(s). DUTIES As a nurse or ambulance nurse in ambulance services, you work with prehospital acute care and are responsible for assessment, treatment, and care of patients in various environments: • in the patient's home • at the scene of an incident • during transport to a healthcare facility. You always work together with a colleague and are part of a professional team consisting of ambulance care workers, nurses, and specialist-trained nurses. The work requires high medical expertise, flexibility, and collaboration skills. The workday can change rapidly. One moment you're handling a critical illness under time pressure; the next, you're providing reassurance and trust to a patient who needs support, calm, and care. Our operation runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We want to give you the best possible conditions to succeed in your new role. Therefore, we offer an individually adapted introduction of approximately seven weeks, tailored to your previous experience and expertise. The introduction starts on January 18, 2027. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you: • Are a licensed nurse with the right to practice within Swedish healthcare. • Have good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. • Have a valid B driver's license and good driving experience. It is meritorious if you have: • Specialist training in ambulance care or other relevant specialist training. • Experience from acute care. • C1 driver's license or B driver's license issued before July 1996. We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and has good judgment even in complex and fast-moving situations. You have a professional demeanor, a strong sense of patient care, and see the value in working closely with both patients and colleagues. You are engaged, development-oriented, and want to contribute to the future of ambulance services. Above all, you are driven by making a real difference for people when they need it most. To thrive in this role, you need good collaboration skills, be flexible, and be able to make well-founded decisions even in rapidly changing situations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. The recruitment process consists of an interview and, for relevant candidates, a physical test. In this recruitment, we use continuous selection.
