The Faculty of Technology and Health Sciences offers education and research in technology, health, and information design with a clear focus on societal challenges. Our research is conducted in close collaboration with external actors, nationally and internationally, and contributes to knowledge development and innovation. Through our collaboration platforms, we bring together academia, the public sector, and business to jointly drive knowledge development and strengthen the relevance of research and education. Education at all levels is research-connected and has a clear link to society's and the labor market's needs. Together, we contribute to sustainable societal development.
Within the faculty there are three institutions where approximately 500 people work.
At the Department of Health Science, Innovation and Design, education is conducted linked to various professions within healthcare and health. Additionally, education is provided in public health, innovation, and information design. Within the department, strong and applied research is conducted that addresses socially important problems. Research and education are developed in collaboration with the public sector, business, and civil society to provide students with current knowledge for their upcoming professional lives.
The Social Contract
The Social Contract is a partnership between Mälardalen University, Västerås city, and Eskilstuna municipality where we explore and address complex societal challenges together with other societal actors.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a driven person who wants to work with the Social Contract's 'Community of Practice'. The Social Contract's 'Community of Practice' can be described as a network of people interested in how we can address complex societal challenges in new ways, collaborate within and between different organizations, and create systems change where they can meet, learn, develop, and share experiences together.
The network consists of employees from the Social Contract's parties (MDU, Västerås city, Eskilstuna municipality), but also employees from other public organizations, civil society, business, and engaged residents.
Examples of work tasks include planning and booking meetings, communicating and sending invitations, attending the implementation of meetings and events, as well as follow-up and evaluation. You will work closely with and receive guidance from a person in the Social Contract's process support.
Qualifications/Requirements
Only those admitted to education at basic or advanced level at MDU can be employed as an administrative assistant. Employment as an administrative assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance Chapter 5 § 8-12.
We are looking for you who:
Have good ability and experience in meeting people in a professional manner
Have the ability and are interested in planning and conducting good meetings and simple events
Have good knowledge of Swedish
We would appreciate if you have administrative experience.
