National Armed Forces Joint Staff (reg. no. 9000006880) announces a competition for the position of Compensation Accountant for permanent employment. Main duties: calculate personnel compensation expenses: salaries, sick leave and vacation pay, allowances, compensations, etc.; calculate taxes and other deductions; prepare reports and statements concerning compensation, including submissions to the State Revenue Service; participate in the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports. Work location: Riga, Krustabaznīcas Street 9 (on-site work). Requirements for candidates: at least level 1 / short-cycle professional higher education in finance, accounting or related field; 1 year of experience in accounting, with preferred experience in compensation calculation; required proficiency working in the RVS Horizon system. To perform this position, you will need to obtain a special clearance for access to state secrets in accordance with sections 9.2 and 9.3 of the Law "On State Secrets". We offer: monthly salary from €1986 to €2174 (before tax payment); additional vacation days and vacation allowance in accordance with the amount established in the public administration; health insurance after the trial period.
