About the Role
Working at Alfa Laval means having the opportunity to be part of our exciting journey while gaining insight into how an established industry operates. In your role, you will ensure that machines reach their full capacity and minimize production downtime through efficient monitoring and maintenance. You will be responsible for setting up and operating machines for optimal performance, monitoring machines, and preparing production. Additionally, you will check material flow into the machine, address various disruptions at your station, and report downtime when necessary. We're looking for someone who is engaged, thorough, and has a passion for technology and production. With us, you'll have the opportunity to develop and grow in a dynamic work environment.
The job includes, for example:
* Preparing materials and tools for the next production run
* Adjusting machines during product changeovers
* Monitoring and adjusting machines during operation
* Inspecting manufactured products to ensure quality
* Performing preventive operator maintenance on machines
* Ordering maintenance work on machines in case of operational disruptions
* Continuously working to improve our process
Are You the One We're Looking For?
This role is perfect for you if you're thorough, self-motivated, solution-focused, and quality-conscious. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and appreciate being an important part of a large operation. You have an interest in machine changeovers and quality control, and you can work independently while understanding the importance of collaborating with your team.
The position involves shift work, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Each shift team consists of 2-4 people who together ensure that our machines can produce around the clock, seven days a week.
We'd like to see that you:
* Have relevant education or experience
* Can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish
* Have a B-class driver's license
* Have a strong interest in technology
* Have experience as a machine operator and have worked with sheet metal processing
It's also advantageous for the position if you:
* Can use measuring instruments
* Have experience with machines/robots
* Have a forklift license
* Have access to your own car
* Have knowledge of blueprint reading
