The Care and Social Services Administration is seeking nursing assistants for elderly care in Backe and Rossön. We are looking for two nursing assistants for the special housing facility Älvgården in Backe and one nursing assistant for home care services in Rossön.
The villages of Backe and Rossön are located approximately 4.5 mil east of Strömsund on the regional border between Jämtland and Västernorrland.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant, you work to support and help people in their daily life based on approved support decisions and individual care plans. The work is varied and includes:
• Assist with practical household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, making beds, shopping, and cooking.
• Provide personal care, for example help with hygiene, showering, toilet visits, dressing and undressing, hair care, and support during meals.
• Contribute to a meaningful and active daily life through social interaction and activities, such as walks, games, or other individually tailored services.
• Perform certain medical tasks, such as blood pressure checks, wound dressings, and medication administration following delegation and required training.
Through on-the-job training, you will receive the knowledge needed to perform your tasks in a safe and professional manner and to follow the procedures and guidelines that apply at your workplace and within the municipality as your employer.

We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant.
You are responsible, have a clear approach, and can work independently. Collaboration with others is an important part of the work, so strong teamwork skills are essential. You are confident and comfortable working with people who need a high degree of security, continuity, and structure.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
