Do you want to work with some of the most experienced acousticians in the industry and help shape the sound environments of the future?
At Norconsult, you'll be part of a team of around 30 acoustic specialists working with everything from residential buildings, schools, and hospitals to concert halls, arenas, and other technically challenging environments. Here you'll have the opportunity to develop your specialist expertise, lead qualified projects, and influence both project results and the continued development of our operations.
In this role, you'll be an advisor and specialist throughout the entire project process, from initial investigations and consultation to design, calculations, measurements, and follow-up. Based on your experience and interests, there are excellent opportunities to develop further in areas such as building acoustics, room and hall acoustics, industrial and environmental noise, vibrations and structure-borne sound, or AV technology.
We work for private clients, contractors, and developers both on individual assignments and within framework agreements and collaborative partnerships across the country. Many projects are carried out together with colleagues in other engineering disciplines at Norconsult, giving you the opportunity to work interdisciplinarily and follow projects from a holistic perspective. With us, you'll have the chance to work closely with clients, influence technical solutions, drive your own projects, and at the same time have the support of a strong network of experienced acousticians. We value knowledge sharing and offer an environment where both specialist expertise and leadership can be developed.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone with 5-10 years or more of experience in building acoustics who wants to continue developing in a project manager role. You have solid technical competence and the ability to independently drive projects from analysis and assessment through execution and delivery. We appreciate a broad acoustic background, but also welcome those with deep specialist knowledge in one of the different fields of acoustics. You have a strong interest in developing both your own and your team's expertise and want to contribute to our continued growth and our clients' success.
In your role as an experienced acoustician, you'll work as a project manager with both junior and senior colleagues, focusing on project progress, client relations, and delivery.
As a person, you're curious, analytical, and business-minded. You take natural responsibility for your projects and drive work forward with structure, commitment, and good judgment, even in complex projects. Strong communication skills and a professional approach enable you to build trust in dialogue with clients, colleagues, and other project partners.
