State Joint Stock Company "LATVIJAS GAISA SATIKSME" announces a competition for a vacant position of AERONAUTICAL DATA PROCESSING SYSTEMS SHIFT ENGINEER. Primary Responsibilities: Ø Monitor and ensure safe and uninterrupted operational functioning and technical maintenance of equipment; Ø Test the functionality of backup radio-technical equipment and backup power supply sources; Ø In case of damage or failure of radio-technical equipment, connect backup equipment and perform damage repairs; Ø Analyze equipment malfunctions and resolve them; Ø Properly maintain technical maintenance documentation; Ø Participate in projects and implementation of new technologies and equipment; Ø Coordinate with internal departments, external service providers, clients, and air traffic control centers in neighboring countries. Requirements for Candidates: Ø Higher technical education or ATSEP qualification; Ø Strong skills in working with electronic equipment and computer systems; Ø Experience working with Linux OS, Microsoft Windows OS; Ø Basic knowledge in computer architecture, network architecture, databases; Ø State language knowledge (minimum B2 level); Ø English language knowledge at a level sufficient to understand technical documentation and communicate with foreign specialists (B2 level); Ø Experience in aviation equipment maintenance will be considered an advantage; Ø Availability to work shifts (24/7, 12 h shifts, 9:00-21:00 and 21:00-9:00). Skills Required for the Position: Ø Ability to work with technical documentation; Ø Ability to understand and follow applicable cooperation mechanisms, as well as simultaneously coordinate your actions with other involved parties; Ø Ability to identify and apply procedures in accordance with work instructions and regulatory requirements; Ø Problem-solving ability; Ø High sense of responsibility and excellent collaboration skills.
