About the Job The Swedish School Inspectorate has a significant and important mission to society. We work to ensure that all children and young people receive a safe and equitable education. We do this, among other things, by reviewing quality, inspecting all schools in Sweden, and reviewing applications to operate independent school operations. The Swedish School Inspectorate has offices in Gothenburg, Linköping, Lund, Stockholm, and Umeå. The Swedish School Inspectorate is also the responsible authority for the School System Board of Appeal, which is a court-like authority tasked with reviewing decisions within the school system. The Office of the School System Board of Appeal is one of five units within the Department of Business Support and Legal Affairs at the Swedish School Inspectorate's head office in Stockholm and has the primary responsibility of handling the board's cases. The office consists of a head of office, an office coordinator, approximately thirteen lawyers, and two regular administrators. As the case intake to the School System Board of Appeal has increased during the year, we now need to support our administration with an additional administrator until the end of the year (December 2026). Job Duties Your main job duties consist of tasks related to case handling, such as registration, filing, copying, dispatch of decisions, and assisting lawyers with the disclosure of public records. handling inquiries through a government/functional mailbox. handling mail and packages. The role involves daily internal contact with other administrators, staff members, the office coordinator, and head of office, board members, and certain external contacts. You Have High school diploma or equivalent education from municipal adult education or from a folk high school, or other equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent Experience with filing in case management systems (Sharepoint/HÖKEN) and W3D3 (diary system) as well as work with dispatch and closure in these systems Computer skills with good knowledge of, for example, Outlook and Word Very good ability to express yourself in an accessible and correct manner in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is also advantageous if you have Experience with corresponding tasks at the Swedish School Inspectorate/School System Board of Appeal As a Person You are service-oriented and have good ability to collaborate with others You are independent and driven in such a way that you have the ability to see where your contribution is needed and take your own initiative You are methodical and appreciate creating order and structure You are confident in your professional role and have good self-awareness You have good ability to handle changes and new conditions You have good ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel Your personal qualities and abilities will be given great weight.
