About the Workplace Future welfare is our great challenge. To meet it, we at the Employment Authority have a very important mission: We enable residents receiving financial assistance to become self-sufficient as quickly as possible, and we also help employers find the right expertise. We meet this challenge with a broad range of adult education and employment initiatives – and we test new ways of working together with the business community, other authorities, government agencies and civil society. To succeed, we must dare to take risks, test new approaches, and find smart solutions. We are approximately 400 colleagues at the Authority, and our role is to give residents the right tools so they can take responsibility for their own development and livelihood. We also coordinate the city's work on migration and integration issues.
