About the role
Would you like to help strengthen competency supply in 10 municipalities in northern Sweden's inland region? We are seeking an engaged coordinator who can contribute to developing coordinated and strategic approaches for competency supply in Region 10.
The role involves creating a comprehensive understanding of labor market needs and an overarching holistic perspective in participating municipalities to develop job matching through relocation services in the project. The goal is to develop effective methods and approaches to match employers' skills gaps with people who want to move to our municipalities with corresponding competencies.
About the workplace
Stay Up North is a further development of the Move Up North project, which has been running for approximately 3 years. In the new project, the insights we have gained so far are further developed to create even better methods for relocation and competency supply. In the project, you will have colleagues in 10 municipalities who are passionate about competency supply and relocation. We work toward the common goal of creating a sustainable competency model that strengthens the municipalities within Region 10's ability to attract and retain workforce over time. Work location can, by agreement, be in one of Region 10's municipalities participating in the project: Arjeplog, Arvidsjaur, Sorsele, Malå, Norsjö, Lycksele, Åsele, Dorotea, Vilhelmina, Storuman.
Your responsibilities
· Stay updated on the overall picture of all participating municipalities' labor markets.
· Build knowledge and understanding of the barriers employers face in recruiting and barriers for workers from Sweden and Europe with sought-after skills in finding employment.
· Distribute relocation contacts to relocation guides based on insights from the overall picture.
· Coordinate workshops with employers in municipalities together with relocation guides in the project.
· Work to achieve relevant indicators, milestones, and project goals and document and report on the initiatives you implement.
· Share learnings with everyone in the project and contribute relevant recommendations and suggestions for improvement.

· Structured and thorough, with an understanding of the importance of planning, documentation, and follow-up to maintain work quality.
· Service-oriented with good collaboration skills and you enjoy supporting others.
· Someone who enjoys making contact and building networks not only in your home municipality but across all Region 10 municipalities.
Skills and qualifications
We are looking for someone with a complete upper secondary education, experience working in an organization with multiple parallel processes, good digital competence, and experience working in various systems.
Meritorious skills include: knowledge of municipalities' business and labor markets, experience with EU projects, improvement work or development projects, experience with competency supply work, experience from labor market initiatives, or knowledge of how processes between employers and employees function.
Other requirements: Category B driving license, good Swedish language skills—equivalent to C1 level.
Duration and working hours
Fixed-term employment 30% position, start date October 1, 2026 or by agreement until June 30, 2029.
Salary
According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
