Conservator/Restorer of Paintings
Job Responsibilities:
• Preparation of conservation surveys, plans, and reports including documentation,
• Execution of conservation and restoration work,
• Ensuring and collaborating on the preparation of condition reports,
• Installation work for new exhibitions at properties managed by ÚPS,
• Ensuring basic conservation of movable objects under ÚPS management,
• Regular inspection of the condition of movable objects at properties managed by ÚPS,
• Close collaboration with various organizational departments of ÚPS (managed properties, department of cultural heritage management and presentation, movable property management department, exhibition and installation department, restoration workshop Ďáblice).
Requirements:
• University degree in the field of painting conservation and restoration,
• Valid permit from the Ministry of Culture for restoration work,
• Computer skills (MS Office 365, photo editing software, graphic design programs),
• Group B driver's license (active driver),
• Team player with independence, responsibility, diligence, systematicity, reliability, and flexibility,
• Clean criminal and moral record (verified by criminal record extract at the start of employment).
