Head of Restoration Workshops and Central Repository in Kutná Hora.
Job Responsibilities:
o Managing a team of specialized staff (restorers, conservators) in restoration workshops,
o Overseeing and directing restoration work in the workshops in Kutná Hora, including ensuring and maintaining methodological procedures,
o Performing conservation and restoration work according to your professional specialization, including preparation of restoration reports,
o Ensuring logistical transportation of movable assets (workshops, facilities), including necessary administrative tasks,
o Ensuring and cooperating on preparation of condition reports,
o Performing installation work when creating new exhibitions at facilities under NPÚ management,
o Ensuring basic conservation of movable objects under NPÚ management,
o Close cooperation with individual organizational units of NPÚ (managed facilities, cultural heritage management and presentation department, furniture management section, presentation and exhibition section),
o Ensuring proper technical condition of workshops, caring for assigned equipment, and procuring appropriate materials,
o Comprehensive care and maintenance of the Central Repository building,
o Comprehensive management of all buildings in the restoration workshops complex in Kutná Hora.
Requirements:
o University or secondary education in the field of restoration,
o Experience in restoration of movable assets,
o Organizational skills, sense of teamwork, experience managing a work team,
o Knowledge of cultural heritage protection legislation,
o Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
o Group B driver's license (active driver),
o Independence, responsibility, initiative, attention to detail,
o Clean criminal and moral record (documented by criminal records extract upon hiring).
