In-Home Services encompasses home care, home healthcare, rehabilitation, personal assistance, and residential support. The Social Services Department has approximately 500 employees and is organized into three operational areas: In-Home Services, Housing and Day Activities, and Individual and Family Care. The department also has a staff unit and a staffing unit, whose manager is part of the department management. As Operations Manager, you are part of the department management and report directly to the Social Services Director. 1 position(s). DUTIES The operational area encompasses home care, home healthcare, rehabilitation, personal assistance, and residential support. As Operations Manager, you are responsible for operational development, financial management, quality development, work environment, and competency planning within your operational area. You lead the operation through seven unit managers and also have direct management responsibility for seven employees with assignments in preventive work and digital tools within care services. In this role, you are part of the Social Services Department's management team and are expected to contribute to the entire department's development. You need to be able to translate political decisions and strategic goals into concrete operations, create structure in complex contexts, and maintain direction while making wise priorities when multiple perspectives need to be weighed. You need to be able to switch between strategic and operational perspectives without losing focus on the assignment or long-term direction.
