About Dalasinfoniettan Dalasinfoniettan is a chamber orchestra in the heart of Dalarna, where nature is as rich as culture. The orchestra consists of 28 full-time musicians. What Does the Work Involve? As a Support Assistant, your primary task is to work with those living in the home, individually with each person in a way that ensures that each individual feels involved and independent in their life. You do this by working methodically based on low-arousal approaches and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Each individual has an implementation plan that describes how the individual needs to receive support from you. As a Support Assistant, work tasks include cleaning and laundry, delegated healthcare tasks such as medication management, cooking, personal care, support during meals, accompaniment during trips and leisure activities such as swimming, exercise and music. The work tasks also include administrative duties such as writing journal notes in individual records and booking transport services. For your information: One of the apartments in the group home has a cat. The work may therefore involve spending time in an environment where a cat is present, which is important to know if you have a cat allergy. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who have - completed education from a childcare and recreation program or completed education as a nursing assistant with protected job title - experience working in LSS residential homes - good communication skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish - good computer skills and learn new programs quickly. It is meriting if you have - experience of method work such as low-arousal approaches, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and other clarifying pedagogy - other education within care and services or social work - personal special interests or competencies that can contribute to the operations and suit the target group, for example in activities, creativity, health, music, communication or similar. As a person, you are stable, self-reliant, and enjoy working in relationship-building ways. You carry out your work with great care and are perceived as a trustworthy person. In the role of Support Assistant, it is important to be empathetic, flexible, and have good communication skills. You need to be able to take initiative, be solution-oriented, work well in a group, and enjoy collaborating with your colleagues. We are also looking for you who want to be involved in the organization's quality work and continued development journey. The role involves ombudsman responsibility in some area, and we would therefore like to see that you are engaged, take initiative, and want to help develop the organization together with us. More Information About the Application The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. Work is scheduled both day and evening shifts throughout all days of the week, which means weekend duty is included.
