Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will provide individualized care and support to our residents in a way that makes each person feel unique and included. Your duties include performing health and healthcare tasks according to instructions and delegation, and you will actively contribute to ensuring our residents achieve good quality of life based on their individual circumstances. You will work with people experiencing various illnesses and functional limitations, and your role involves creating security for both residents and their families. Qualifications We are looking for someone with training as a nursing assistant. You have experience working in elderly care, preferably with experience in care for people with dementia, and education and/or documented experience in dementia care. You have strong knowledge of LifeCare, the BPSD registry, and Senior Alert. Additionally, you have experience with care planning and working systematically with implementation plans and documentation. You work in a person-centered manner and have a strong ability to create security and inclusion for residents. Since documentation and communication are important aspects of the work, you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience from a Silvia-certified organization or have completed Silvia training. It is also advantageous if you have experience mentoring colleagues or taking expanded responsibility in daily work. JOB DUTIES We are seeking a vocational instructor who, with your healthcare expertise, will teach and guide our future nursing assistants in close collaboration with your colleagues in our excellent facilities at Tranan in Sibbhult. The work team consists of trained and experienced instructors who teach healthcare-related subjects. Close collaboration with language and social studies instructors is also included. We work student-centered and have guidance counselors, curriculum coordinators, and special education specialists available.
