Prison Chaplain with the Church of Sweden Västerås
Are you a confident and stable priest who enjoys traditional pastoral duties and is also drawn to meeting people during one of life's most difficult times, through services and pastoral conversations in a prison setting? Then this could be the position for you. Welcome to apply for the position of prison chaplain with the Church of Sweden Västerås! Half of the position is based at Tillberga Correctional Facility, where you will work approximately two to three days per week. The need for pastoral care is substantial, and you will meet clients in individual conversations, devotions, and services – including one service per month on weekends. You will be part of an ecumenical spiritual care team (NAV) and will collaborate with correctional staff. There are excellent opportunities to help shape the role yourself. The other half of the position, you will work as a curate assigned to Norrbo and Tillberga parishes, serving the entire North pastoral area. This includes traditional pastoral duties such as baptisms, weddings, funerals, and Sunday mass, as well as devotions and shorter weekday services. On weekends or during a funeral, you may very well serve in a different part of the North pastoral area than Norrbo and Tillberga. You will be part of the team at Norrbo and Tillberga parishes, which consists of approximately 14 people and is led by a unit manager. You will collaborate with colleagues within the North pastoral area and more broadly within the pastorate. Here you are welcomed to a team with an open and inclusive culture that works in a worship-centered rural community, characterized by commitment, rich youth and volunteer work, and great creative joy – proud that the church is a living part of the local rural community. To apply for the position, you must be ordained as a priest in the Church of Sweden and be qualified to perform the duties of the office. A Category B driver's license and access to a car are required, as well as strong skills in Swedish and English and basic IT knowledge. It is desirable if you have pastoral care training and in-depth experience with pastoral conversations, and particularly desirable with experience in institutional pastoral care, preferably within criminal justice or similar services. For you to thrive in this role, we believe you are a confident and stable person with good self-awareness and high integrity, who remains calm in pressured situations and clearly distinguishes between the personal and the professional. You are self-directed and take responsibility for structuring and driving your own work – not least at the correctional facility, where you largely lead and plan your own time. You are flexible and able to adapt when circumstances change. At the same time, you work well with others: you listen, communicate, and resolve any conflicts constructively. Finally, you are outgoing and relationship-building in professional contexts and meet people with empathy. The position is a permanent employment with 100% service hours, which includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. The selection process includes a personality test (TQ). Work at the correctional facility also requires a criminal record check, drug and alcohol testing, and a security clearance with registry check. The facility offers an attractive environment with well-functioning programs and meaningful employment through a wood factory that keeps clients occupied. The Swedish Christian Council (SKR) coordinates spiritual care and services within Swedish corrections, and each facility has a spiritual care committee (NAV). All prospective NAV staff must undergo a security clearance check by the Swedish Security Service. Analytics Engineer
Join Telavox as an Analytics Engineer 📊 At Telavox, a data point is only as valuable as the trust people place in it. As our Analytics Engineer, you will own the full lifecycle of that data point, from raw backend event all the way to the dashboard where an executive acts. You are the person who makes sure the numbers leadership sees are the right ones, and that the path from raw event to insight is modeled, tested, and trustworthy. We think of this role as the organisation's librarian: data at Telavox should not just be available, it should be findable, well-defined, and ready to use. If you like the craft of making data genuinely useful and you want to own it from pipeline to prototype, this role is built for you. About the job You will be responsible for making data real across the organisation, building and maintaining the pipelines, models, and datasets that analysts and business leaders depend on every day. Your day-to-day work includes: Own the dbt project: transform raw data into staged, modeled, documented, and tested tables across bronze, silver, and gold layers Design and evolve data marts that encode real Telavox business logic in ways that survive org and product changes Operate our CDC pipelines, monitor health, respond to failures, and manage BigQuery cost and performance Build and maintain the semantic layer that powers self-service and agentic analytics Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to turn questions into durable data products rather than one-off reports This role is based at our new HQ in Malmö. About you This role sits closer to data engineering than classic BI. Your centre of gravity is the backend: ingestion pipelines, GCP, SQL performance, and change data capture. You will take on real data engineering responsibilities; this is not a role that hands off to a separate platform team. That said, you are not only a backend engineer. You can move up the stack when needed, spinning up a dashboard to validate data with stakeholders and close the feedback loop on your models. You are pragmatic and ownership-minded, taking pride in end-to-end delivery. You are comfortable speaking business with a Sales Lead and SQL with a Developer in the same afternoon, and you are always focused on making data genuinely useful to the people who depend on it. We are also looking for someone genuinely curious about AI, eager to help shape how Claude and similar tools fit into analytics engineering and bring a point of view on where AI adds real leverage and where it does not. We are looking for someone with: Advanced SQL and strong dbt fundamentals, including incremental models, snapshots, tests, and macros Solid BigQuery knowledge across partitioning, clustering, cost controls, and performance tuning Experience building dimensional models or equivalent analytical schemas Ability to translate business questions into durable data models, and to push back when the question is wrong Working Python for tooling, scripts, and operational tasks Experience with CDC concepts, Fivetran, or a semantic layer such as Cube or MetricFlow is a strong plus Fluent English, written and spoken. Swedish is a plus Join us at Telavox💚 Since Telavox's journey started in 2002, we have strengthened our position as the leading forward-thinking communication platform for businesses. As a digital mobile operator, we develop and own our all-in-one communication platform, which integrates telephony, PBX, messaging, meetings, and contact centers, giving businesses a smarter way to connect. Today, we're a thriving company with 1.9 billion SEK in revenue and 500+ Telavoxers across nine countries. We embrace AI and automation to push the boundaries of business communication. We offer flexible work options and adaptable hours, giving you the freedom to balance life and career while staying connected to our vibrant Telavox culture. Read more about our new HQ in Malmö 🏠!
