Job Description As a nursing assistant on Department B165, you will perform standard nursing assistant tasks. Patient care is conducted in a care team together with a colleague and a nurse. The department has 7 care beds. The department also has on-call activities/clinic in the evenings, nights, and weekends. The assignment is varied and includes a wide range of both diagnoses and patient populations, which can also vary in work pace. Your work tasks will include responsibility for the basic care that patients need, blood sampling, tracheostomy care, stoma care, feeding tubes, various types of PEG drainage, handling Bladderscan, taking ECGs, and all other nursing care work. In the on-call clinic, it is the nursing assistant who assists the physician. About the Position You will work at our short-term residential facility that offers 24-hour assessments, respite care, and relief for families. In your role as a nursing assistant, you will help create security, participation, and independence for our guests. The work is varied and includes both care services and rehabilitation work. Your Tasks Perform care and support services based on the individual's needs. Work with an everyday rehabilitation approach to strengthen the individual's independence. Participate in assessments of activity capacity and need for continued support. Perform delegated health and medical care services according to the nurse's instructions. Document according to applicable guidelines. Collaborate with other professionals to create good and cohesive care and support. Provide support and relief to family members. Who Are We Looking For?
