This creates good conditions for continuity, collaboration, and close leadership. Your work tasks As a care worker in Your Municipal Home Care Service, you work close to people in their own homes. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for carrying out care work based on each person's needs, wishes, and support decisions. The goal of our work is to make it possible for elderly people to continue living at home as long as they wish. You work with the individual's participation and self-determination in focus and contribute to ensuring that services are provided with good quality. Work tasks vary based on the individual's needs and may include: personal care support with meals service tasks, for example cleaning social interaction and support in daily life documentation medication management following delegation from a nurse You start your shift together with your colleagues where you go through and coordinate the day's work. Heavy lifting can occur and mobility aids are used in the work. Work in homes where pets are present or smoking occurs can also occur. About you We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and who meets others with respect, attentiveness, and consideration. It is a merit if you have experience from home care or other care and support services. Care assistant training or other care and support education is also a merit, but not a requirement. We also welcome you if you lack previous experience but have the right personal qualities, a genuine interest in people, and a willingness to learn the work. You are confident in yourself, enjoy collaborating with others, and take responsibility for your work tasks. You contribute to a good work environment and want to be part of creating care with high quality. To be able to communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, access and document information, and receive medication delegation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You also have a B driving license and/or can cycle. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
