You will meet a wide variety of clients of different ages with different backgrounds and experiences. You will conduct searches, apply restraints to clients, and supervise clients during transport. The Transport Department's assignments are varied, which means your working hours can change from day to day. Evening, night, and weekend work may be included. The times in the schedule are frame hours, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Nationally, it is more common to finish before the frame time ends, and in most cases you have a consistent start time. If you have worked more than expected, you will receive overtime pay. If you have worked less than expected, you will still receive your regular salary. Together with your colleagues, you drive the operations, so you need to have good teamwork skills and be clear in your communication. It is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane perspective on people, respect for the individual, and the belief that people can develop and change. You need to be in good general physical condition to handle a sedentary job and to be able to act physically when required. We are looking for you who have: Complete upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant Work experience, including seasonal work, temporary employment, or self-employment. Your answers to the selection questions and your CV will form the basis for determining whether you are qualified to move forward in the process. To be eligible for employment with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, you must meet high standards regarding suitability, judgment, security and confidentiality awareness, and you must comply with applicable laws. This means you must uphold democratic values and the state values that apply to the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's operations. Certain positions are classified as security-sensitive, and a security vetting process with background checks will be conducted before an employment decision is made. For some security-classified positions, Swedish citizenship is required. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service welcomes applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
