You will join our afterschool team and become part of a wonderful group dedicated to providing the best possible education for every student. At Sundsbroskolan, you will be offered a developmental and exciting assignment, and this school year our focus is on reading. We have four departments with dedicated facilities adapted for afterschool activities. You will be led by a manager who provides close and forward-thinking leadership. As an elementary school teacher in the afterschool program, you will plan and implement instruction together with colleagues. Based on the curriculum and governing documents, we work together to create a safe environment in the afterschool program that aims to strengthen our students in both their knowledge development and personal development while providing them with meaningful afterschool time. In the afterschool program, we also strive to promote diverse social contacts, social community, and strengthen group relationships. Working hours may vary between 07:00-18:00. While our students are in school, you will collaborate with our school staff, and it may also be appropriate for you to teach one or more subjects during the students' school day. Together we create an activity that meets our students and guardians in the best way based on their individual needs! Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified afterschool program teacher. It is a merit if you have previous experience in the profession and adapt instruction to the needs of the student group. You have good knowledge and understanding of the afterschool program's governing documents and apply them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical abilities that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive study environment and good learning atmosphere for our students throughout the day. Your instruction is modern and based on evidence-based research; you develop your work with good knowledge and experience working efficiently with relevant digital tools.
