About the Role As Senior Accountant / Group Accountant, you will have independent responsibility for our USA-based subsidiary while working with group accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role combines operational accounting work with group-wide processes and offers broad contacts, both in Sweden and internationally. You will work closely with colleagues in Finance, our subsidiaries, external advisors, and auditors. Your Main Responsibilities: Operational Accounting and Company Responsibility: Responsible for ongoing accounting, year-end closing, and reporting for our USA-based subsidiary Manage accounts receivable and payable, payments, account reconciliations, and analyses Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the group Be the point of contact with external advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders. Group Accounting and Reporting: Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and the group's consolidation process Review, analyze, and quality assure reporting from the group's subsidiaries Work with eliminations, revaluations, intercompany profits, and other consolidation adjustments Contribute to annual reports, interim reports, and other financial reporting. Development and Collaboration: Contribute to the development of reporting routines, internal controls, and group-wide processes Be an important financial contact for our international subsidiaries Participate in projects related to digitalization, efficiency improvements, and development of the finance function. Who You Are You are structured, analytical, and thorough with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. You like to take ownership of your tasks, collaborate well with others, and have the ability to see both details and the bigger picture. You are also driven by developing processes and finding smarter ways of working. Your Background You have: Academic degree in accounting or equivalent work experience Several years of experience in qualified accounting work Documented experience with year-end closings, financial reporting, and account reconciliations Good understanding of financial reporting and related processes Very good skills in Excel Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious, but not required: Experience with IFRS and reporting in a listed company environment Experience with internal controls and financial quality assurance Experience with process development, efficiency improvements, or digitalization within finance Experience with the business system Pyramid and the consolidation tool Aaro Experience with USA-related accounting or work in an international group environment Experience with group reporting or consolidation tools In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
