About the Operations Do you want to make a difference in acute psychiatric care? With us, you will work in an engaged and competent team that puts the patient at the center. We offer a stimulating and educational work environment. Department 60 is a psychiatric care unit with a unique location and mission. Department 60 at Falun Hospital is a general psychiatric inpatient unit with 14 care beds. The department offers treatment with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), and also applies user-driven admission. Here we care for patients with varying psychiatric diagnoses, according to different forms of care and with individually adapted care schedules. Thanks to our close collaboration with somatic care, we receive patients with complex comorbidity - where psychiatric conditions are often combined with somatic care needs. This makes our work environment varied, educational, and meaningful. We work in multidisciplinary teams with nurses, care assistants, and physicians, in close collaboration with psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and other actors within healthcare and social services. This collaboration is crucial for providing our patients with the support they need. Work Responsibilities In Department 60 we work in care teams, divided into care team 1 and 2. As a registered nurse, you have a central and leading role in the care team. You are responsible for, together with nursing assistants and care workers, driving and developing patient care. The team also includes a department physician with whom you collaborate during rounds and in daily work. We work based on SafeWards and Meaningful 24-hour Care, which means a structured and evidence-based approach where we focus on the patient's needs, safety, and participation.
