Home care services in Mjölby are organized into six geographical areas and characterized by close collaboration between units and managers. Do you want to lead an operation that makes a real difference in people's daily lives? We are now looking for an engaged and development-oriented unit manager for home care services in Mjölby Municipality.

DUTIES
As a unit manager, you lead an operation that creates conditions for individuals to live an independent, secure and dignified life.
You are part of a positive and development-driven management team where we work closely together, share experiences and jointly drive improvement work. The culture is characterized by openness, lack of pretense and a strong focus on solutions.
You have overall responsibility for operations, employees, finances, quality and work environment. Together with two operations coordinators, you lead the daily operations and create conditions for a sustainable and efficient way of working.
As a manager, you are responsible for:
• leading, developing and following up operations based on legislation, political objectives and municipal guidelines,
• creating good conditions for employee engagement and development,
• ensuring high quality and person-centered care and support,
• driving change and development work that meets present and future needs.
You report directly to the operations manager for the home care organization and are part of the operations area's management team.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this position, we have the following requirements:
• degree as social worker, behavioral science bachelor's degree or other bachelor's degree that the employer considers equivalent.
• at least 2 years of experience working as a manager or leader
• experience of leading through change
• several years of experience in municipal care and social work, also applies to private operations.
• B-category driver's license
It is also meritious if you have:
• held your management role within a politically governed organization
• completed leadership training
• have experience from home care, elderly care or other operations where change management and resource planning are a natural part of the assignment.
