Description As an occupational therapist at Habilitation, you play an important role in team-based work, where the multidisciplinary team's efforts aim to make patients' daily lives function well. We are now seeking an occupational therapist for one of our teams, primarily serving adults with congenital or early-onset functional limitations such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities. Duties You will have an exciting variety of work tasks that include assessing functional and activity capacity and supporting patients in creating structure, routine, and insight for greater balance and independence in daily life. Common interventions include assessing the need for and prescribing assistive devices to compensate for functional limitations. The work also includes providing information, guidance, and consultation to patients and their surroundings, as well as collaborating with other healthcare providers and authorities, such as Primary Care Rehabilitation, the Assistive Device Center, and the municipality. Another common and important task is following patients over time according to follow-up programs CPUP and MMCUP. Habilitation works in teams with colleagues both within your own profession and in other professions. We offer both individual treatment and group-based treatment (BIG), such as Ha Koll and Living with CP. Digital care visits are common. We offer you an introductory period and good opportunities for collegial support from a designated mentor. We work continuously with professional development, both locally and regionally with other occupational therapists in adult habilitation and strive for continuous competence development through collegial learning, seminar days, and training based on needs. Habilitation has developed a Career Development Model for occupational therapists to support competence enhancement. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist with knowledge and experience working with the diagnostic groups mentioned above. You should be skilled in assessment and treatment, including experience and knowledge of assistive devices/tools that compensate for these difficulties. It is an asset if you have training/experience with occupational therapy assessment instruments/methods targeting the above groups, such as Ka-Tid, PRPP, CO-OP. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability; we therefore require qualities such as the ability to prioritize, be flexible, work independently, and have good collaborative skills. Experience with teamwork is therefore an asset.
