Traveling Security Technician

WANTED: Technician in alarms, access control systems, and CCTV for SafeTeam AVAILABLE: One of the best workplaces you can get! Simon at SafeTeam shares: "We have a very pleasant atmosphere here. It's easy to call colleagues and we help each other when needed. And we have very good customers too." Click here to read a longer interview with Simon. Why work at SafeTeam? At SafeTeam, we are convinced that we can accomplish fantastic things together when we feel good and are thriving in our workplace. That's why we deliberately work to create a work environment and culture that provides high satisfaction for all employees. We live our values; Honest, Service-Focused, and Safe. SafeTeam is large enough to offer development opportunities, stability, collective agreements, and favorable terms – but at the same time small enough for a special and family-like atmosphere. We work with a wide range of products, from access control systems, locks, and alarms to camera surveillance, door automation, burglary protection, and fire protection. You'll be in good company here – we have approximately 200 wonderful colleagues in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Linköping, Mölndal, Trollhättan, and Stenungsund. What does the job entail? As a traveling technician, you work on-site with our pleasant customers installing and servicing burglary alarms, access control systems, and camera surveillance. You travel around visiting our customers and meet many people. In this role, we offer a company car. The role involves you frequently staying away, at hotels, Monday through Friday. You depart Monday morning and are back home in time for the weekend on Friday. In many projects, you work with colleagues from our different regions or together with our partners. Your assignments come from our Retail & National Customers business unit, which is based in Stockholm. Projects are created here and you receive them directly from the sales organization. This requires you to be self-driven and able to act as your own work leader. We place great emphasis on organization and order, your ability to plan your day, and clear reporting. The customers are more technically complex with high security requirements. They often fall under security protection agreements and are part of the critical infrastructure sector. Here you are part of the experts who, together with the Retail & National Customers team, ensure that solutions for our customers are uniform and meet applicable customer requirements, standards, and regulations. Where? Since you are mainly traveling but the business unit office is in Stockholm, you ideally live around Stockholm and the surrounding area. What can you do? To qualify for this position, we want you to have: • experience as an installer/technician in the security industry or similar industries. The most important thing is installation experience and project work experience, both in teams and independently. • B-class driver's license • ability to provide excellent service – "that little extra" – to both customers and colleagues. First-class service is indeed the core of our company culture. It is meritorious if you have worked with installation, service, and/or commissioning of access control systems, burglary alarms, and camera surveillance. You have good computer skills and knowledge of a couple of, or several, of the common manufacturers, such as Aptus, Axema, RCO, Assa, Bewator, ARX, SPC, Galaxy, Teletec Premier, Power, or NEO. If you also have experience with project planning and leading installation work, that is meritorious, but not required. Many of the customers you will meet have complex integrated systems, so it is meritorious if you have experience with this. But most importantly, you have the willingness to learn. Some customers are subject to security protection agreements, which means we place extra emphasis on lawfulness and orderly personal finances in this recruitment. Are we a good fit? We place great emphasis on who you are as a person. We want you to fit into our team, thrive, and stay for a long time! If you work for us, we will do everything we can to make that happen. We hope for the same genuine commitment from you. We have put it this way: SafeTeam's Employee Promise You get to work in a professional and family-like company where we care about each other and our customers. Here there is a genuine will to always do your best. We do it together – employees and leaders work closely with us. It's important that you take responsibility and are unpretentious to thrive; in return, you get opportunities to develop, a really wonderful community, and an existence characterized by openness and helpfulness. Curious about what other SafeTeam colleagues say? Watch the film where several employees talk about what it's like to work at SafeTeam. When can you start? Have we caught your interest? Great! We interview continuously, so don't delay your application. The position will be filled as soon as we find the right person. Questions? Want to know more about the job? Contact Mattias Gustafsson, Regional Manager Stockholm, [email protected]. In this recruitment, we have chosen partners and advertising channels. We therefore politely but firmly decline further contact with recruitment and staffing agencies. Furthermore, you need to be fluent in Swedish in speech and writing. Want to know how we handle your personal data? We use Teamtailor's recruitment tool.
