Description We are now seeking a support pedagogue for Lindholmsallén 43 residential care facility! Lindholmsallén 43 is located on Lindholmen in Lundby and is a residential facility with special support and services according to LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The target group is people with neuropsychiatric functional variations. Lindholmsallén 43 has 6 apartments as well as common areas. The work team at the facility consists, in addition to you, of five support assistants, and together you are responsible for planning and developing the operation as well as providing practical, personal, and pedagogical support in daily life. Medication management is also part of the work. As a support pedagogue with us, you join a team of dedicated support assistants whose shared mission is to contribute to a meaningful life with daily support, activity support, and maintenance of social contacts. You support the support assistants in the operation with methods, routines, and social documentation, and help maintain structure in the organization. You will also guide and reflect on approaches to service and interaction. Being a support in developing individually adapted methods to promote participation and independence is an important part of the work. In your role as support pedagogue, you work with quality follow-up and quality development in the operation. You also participate in a network within the field with other support pedagogues and have a method developer to support your work with quality and methods. You will ensure that structure and work tasks proceed smoothly and will have administrative time as needed. Working hours are scheduled with every other weekend worked. The position is full-time with 38.25 hours as the full-time measure. Qualifications We are looking for you who have training as a support pedagogue or alternatively a post-secondary specialization in the functional impairment field that includes at least 200 vocational training credits, 120 university credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four full-time semesters of study. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with functional impairments. The training should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through test provider Educateit. You also need basic computer skills for this position.
