Work Tasks As a social secretary in functional support, you work with administrative authority within LSS legislation and the Social Services Act (SoL). The target group you will primarily work with is children and adults within LSS. The work involves meeting with the individual to investigate, assess, and make decisions about services as well as conduct follow-up work. The assignment involves ensuring equivalent and legally sound handling with a focus on the individual's influence and participation. The work is based on a holistic perspective for the individual, and we collaborate on this basis with the individual's network, other authorities, and organizations. The work includes working both independently and in teams. The focus of the position may be adjusted based on changing needs in the target group. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has a degree in social work or other equivalent academic education where you have studied social law. We would prefer that you have experience with administrative authority within LSS, but also SoL. You preferably have experience working in the business systems Combine, Cosmic Link, and the investigation method IBIC. Since travel is part of the position, you need to have a Class B driver's license. You have a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives. You have a number of directly reporting Prison Inspectors to support you, and through trust-based leadership, you create good conditions for them to succeed in their role. On behalf of the KVC, you conduct efficient operations within allocated budgets. Operations are, like elsewhere in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, complex, with broad scope, and in an expansion phase, and your assignment will be characterized by this. The task involves coordinating, driving, and implementing change and development work with particular responsibility for your function. You will participate in two management groups. One led by the KVC consisting of the KVC and the Assistant KVCs (strategic management group). You will lead the other management group, which includes the Prison Inspectors attached to your responsibility area. You should be prepared to cover for the KVC during absences.
