Group Controller for a Growing Conglomerate We are now seeking a Group Controller who wants to be part of developing governance, analysis, and financial processes in a growing conglomerate with an entrepreneurial spirit. Your Role As Group Controller, you will be an important support to group management and owners. You are responsible for creating clear financial decision-making foundations and developing financial governance while working closely with our subsidiaries and their CEOs. The role combines analysis, business acumen, and development – and suits you if you want to take on greater responsibility and grow with the business. You will, among other things: • Manage consolidated monthly and annual reporting to the board and owners. • Develop and maintain KPIs and financial metrics for the group and its companies. • Drive budget, business plan, and forecast processes. • Ensure common financial processes and internal controls. • Manage liquidity planning and financing matters. • Be the contact person with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders. • Participate in business acquisitions, due diligence, and integration of new companies. • Contribute to developing the group's finance function and working methods. Who Are You? To succeed in this role, you should have 5–8 years of experience in controlling, audit, or qualified accounting, and feel that it's time to take the next step. You are experienced in driving change and efficiency initiatives, and if you have experience from accounting firms with industrial clients, we see that as particularly interesting. Experience from companies with decentralized structures or group environments is also a plus. We are looking for someone with: • A degree in business administration or equivalent relevant higher education. • Strong understanding of accounting, consolidation, and financial analysis. • Experience with ERP systems and BI tools. • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Experience from group environments or audit is a plus. As a person, you are business-minded and solution-oriented with a natural ability to combine attention to detail with a strategic perspective. You are confident in your professional role and experienced in working in a fast-paced environment with many contact points. You build trust through collaboration rather than control and enjoy taking initiative and challenging established practices when it leads to better decisions. You will have functional responsibility for finance resources in sister companies, report to the group's CEO, and be based in Östergötland where several of the group's companies are located.
