As a Project Engineer – Electrical & Automation, you will take technical responsibility for electrical and automation solutions in assigned customer projects. You will work close to customers, internal engineering teams, and production, translating customer requirements into robust and compliant design solutions. While you do not have formal personnel responsibility, you will lead the electrical scope in your projects and coordinate others in the delivery. As our production is located in Landskrona, the role is primarily on-site, with some flexibility for remote work. How you'll make an impact Take technical ownership of electrical and automation scope in assigned projects, ensuring delivery according to time, budget, and quality requirements. Verify that the electrical design is in accordance with customer specifications, including component selection and solution review. Design automation cabinets, low-voltage motor control centres (MCC), and junction boxes (typical voltages: 208/400/480/690 VAC and 24–220 VDC). Create and work according to quality documentation such as process maps, work instructions, functional descriptions, and guidelines. Prepare technical specifications for suppliers and manage articles and Bills of Material (BOM) in SAP. Support factory testing, FAT, supplier evaluations, and commissioning activities (SAT), including occasional travel. Provide after-sales technical support through troubleshooting and solution development when needed. Your background Solid experience in electrical design and automation within relevant industries such as machine manufacturing, process industry, or water and treatment plants. Post-secondary technical education or equivalent professional experience as an electrical designer, project engineer, lead engineer, or similar role. Proven ability to independently design automation cabinets and motor control systems or other low voltage cabinets using Elprocad or similar electrical CAD tools. Experience working with redundant and high-availability solutions (e.g. S2, R1, R2 concepts). Good knowledge of applicable standards and regulations such as the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), IEC 61439, IEC 61000-6-2 / IEC 61000-6-4, and CE certification. Strong proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken; Swedish language skills are considered a strong advantage. A structured, communicative, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to take responsibility and lead technical work within projects. Meriting experience Experience with design according to UL / CSA standards. Practical experience with electrical cabinet assembly or automation installation. Experience with PLC, DCS, RTU, IPC, or HMI programming or configuration. As power demand and cybersecurity requirements continue to grow, the boundaries between machine OT networks and customer IT environments are becoming increasingly interconnected. We are now looking for a Project Engineer – Network & Cyber Security to strengthen our engineering team in Landskrona. In this role, you will work close to both technology and projects, acting as a key link between industrial automation systems and customer site networks. You will support secure network design, implementation, and lifecycle management of machine networks, while also serving as a cybersecurity focal point in customer projects. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement in a global engineering environment. How you'll make an impact Design and integrate secure network architectures between machine OT environments and customer site IT networks. Configure, commission, and support industrial network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and gateways in project deliveries. Act as a cybersecurity representative in customer projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Prepare and maintain cybersecurity‑related technical documentation, risk assessments, and compliance evidence. Support troubleshooting and incident resolution during commissioning, operation, and lifecycle phases. Collaborate closely with automation engineers, customer OT/IT teams, and suppliers to ensure robust and secure system integration. Contribute to continuous improvement of network, cybersecurity practices, tools, and ways of working. Your background A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent practical experience. Several years of experience working with industrial networks and cybersecurity in OT/IT environments within sectors such as power transmission, substations, manufacturing, or process industries. Solid understanding of industrial networking concepts, including Layer 2/3 networking, segmentation, redundancy, and routing in OT contexts. Experience with industrial communication protocols such as IEC 61850, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, or similar. Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, EU CRA). A structured, proactive, and collaborative working style, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Swedish language skills are considered a strong advantage. Meriting experience Hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, or industrial automation systems. Experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, or security assessment tools.
