Centralen Station is part of the work to create a vibrant and efficient public transport hub where travel by regional and commuter trains, trams, buses, cars, and bicycles interact in a functional way. As project manager for public space development at Centralen, Nordstan, and Kvarnberget, among others (the CNK project), you contribute to creating a vibrant meeting place and transfer point that appeals to all modes of transport and transfers between different transportation methods such as bike to train, bus to train, train to walking. A functioning transfer point must be in place when Västlänken begins operations. Public space must therefore be sufficiently developed by Västlänken's opening in December 2026 so that passengers can safely access and leave the stations.
