Work as a Homework Helper in Uppsala!

Want to make a difference? 19,700 students did not complete primary school in Sweden during the 2024/2025 school year. There are schools where 7 out of 10 students do not meet upper secondary school eligibility requirements. At the nonprofit Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen, you contribute your skills and commitment to help more students achieve eligibility requirements with confidence in their future. We are now recruiting new homework helpers in Uppsala! We are looking for someone interested in a paid part-time job while also making a concrete societal contribution. The position is an hourly contract for afternoons/evenings and involves being a homework helper after school at one of our partner schools. You work as part of a team of three homework helpers, all of whom are university students. You will receive training in and work according to our structured approach. Each homework help group consists of 15 students, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the work. As a homework helper, you can either work as a regular homework helper or as a substitute. As a regular homework helper, you work 6 hours per week spread across two scheduled afternoons/evenings (opportunities for extra substitution shifts are available). As a substitute, you work when regular homework helpers are on leave or sick. The work is performed after school in the school's facilities. We are looking for someone who: - Is a university or college student - Has pedagogical ability and can communicate and build relationships with children and young people. - Is solution-oriented, takes initiative, and can work according to our structured approach and method. - Has broad fundamental subject competence and good study techniques. - Shares Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen's values and vision of a society where all children grow up with the conditions to succeed in school and shape their own future. Since the job involves working with children, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Providing an extract from the police criminal record for the employer is a legal requirement for working with children and young people. Differences between schools, where you live, where you come from, and what your parents do increasingly determine how likely you are to succeed in school. Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen is a nonprofit foundation that operates where it is needed most. Homework help is free for students, and homework helpers' salaries are financed through support from the business sector and public sector. Homework help is a concrete measure that addresses one of Sweden's biggest problems today—more and more young people are not succeeding in school and risk being excluded from society. Carefully selected, paid university students help young people with their studies two evenings a week and are also positive role models and mentors. Since our start in 2007, we have developed a structured approach and a clear goal—to improve grades and help students advance to upper secondary school. We are currently present at over 90 schools in, among others, Stockholm, Södertälje, Västerås, Norrköping, Gothenburg, Landskrona, Umeå, Sundsvall, Uppsala, Gävle, and Malmö. Power Platform Consultant

You're sitting in a project meeting. The customer describes a problem that doesn't have an obvious solution. It's complex, maybe a bit messy, and exactly the kind of challenge you love. You start asking questions, connecting the dots, sketching solutions in your head, and you know you don't need to have all the answers yourself. You have a team behind you that thinks just as much as you do and complements you in what you can't do. That's what it's like to work at Compago. We don't care about your utilization rate. We're not planning to measure it either. And we don't believe in salary models that stress more than they motivate. We believe in balance, security, and actually having a sustainable working life (yes, for real). What do we like? Tricky projects, collaboration, and solving difficult problems together. You're the person who knows you don't know everything, but who is genuinely curious to learn more and enjoys sharing along the way. With us, we work in project form for large companies that make a difference. You get to dive deep into Power Platform and other Microsoft technologies, understand the customer's business, and build smart solutions that probably haven't been done before and that actually get used. We work with everything from SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI to Copilot, Azure, and Business Central. Can't do it all already? Perfect, then you have plenty to learn with us. Who are you? Whether you come from the customer side or consulting doesn't matter. You're comfortable working in project form, have practical experience with Microsoft development, and a good understanding of business. Acting as an architect is something you enjoy, and you're comfortable in dialogue with customers. At the same time, you have a hard time staying away from coding now and then. You're fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. To give you the best possible conditions, we see that you: · Are well familiar with Power Platform/Model Driven Apps OR Dynamics CE · Are comfortable with Azure and data modeling/Dataverse At Compago, we work with placement in central Malmö or Gothenburg. Read more about us and our recruitment process. Application and questions: If you have questions or thoughts, feel free to contact Alexander Lindgren and Hanna Elfving at [email protected].
