WORK DUTIES The Children and Youth Services Unit works with qualified psychosocial treatment work aimed at children and young people (0-20 years) and their families. The goal is to strengthen parents' abilities so that families are given better conditions to manage their life situation themselves. The family therapist we are now seeking will primarily work with young people 13-21 years and their families. Open care operates on assignment from social workers and also offers services without needs assessment, both individually and in groups. The treatment foundation is systems theory and attachment theory with a clear focus on each individual's specific needs, family, and network. As a family therapist, you work with family conversations, family pedagogical interventions, parental support programs, network work, and individual treatment work. Activity Description Hedskolan is a pleasant F-6 school and adapted primary school with approximately 500 students, located in a residential area close to the city center. Proximity to both the forest and ski trails is notable and used frequently by students and teachers in instruction and during breaks. Work teams are organized by grade level with close collaboration around all our students. The atmosphere is characterized by openness and curiosity toward new ways of working. Job Responsibilities As a class mentor, you follow a class in grades 4–6 throughout the day and share responsibility with teachers for creating safety, well-being, and a conducive learning environment. You are an active resource in the classroom and after-school program, and you also have responsibility for recess supervision and recess activities. You will have contact with guardians regarding social matters and therefore share responsibility with teachers for documentation concerning norms and values. The position also includes substituting for staff absences at the school and after-school program. Your work includes responsibility and duties in the after-school program, before and after school. NOTE: This position is a hourly substitute role in Nacka Municipality, one day. Östermalms Musik & Kulturskola was founded in 1993 with instruction in Stockholm and Danderyd Municipality. Since receiving authorization as a provider in Nacka Municipality in 2007, our operations have expanded to large parts of Nacka. We currently have approximately 800 students. Since fall 2018, we are also authorized to conduct cultural activities in Nacka. We believe in a strong connection between music, culture, mental well-being, and performance. Our goal is to awaken a genuine interest in music and culture, thereby strengthening our students' personal and musical development. We focus on the individual and are specialists in teaching beginners. The operation is led by Principal Sonoko Kase. We are currently seeking a substitute teacher for our manga drawing instruction starting this fall. There are excellent opportunities to expand hours, as our courses in Nacka Municipality are very popular. Previous experience teaching manga drawing is a merit.
