We are looking for you to contribute to the leadership, development, and management of Växjö Municipality's parks and green spaces. The task of managing the municipality's parks and natural areas includes operation and maintenance of: • Seasonal plantings • Fountains, benches, and fixed installations • Green space care such as grass areas, hedges, perennials, shrubs, etc. • Park and street trees and park forests • Play and activity areas • Gravel areas and gravel roads As a supervisor, you are a key person in this important work. You plan, lead, and follow up on daily operations, develop and drive the business toward set goals, and contribute to change initiatives. You support the unit manager in all matters related to economics, work environment, and staffing, and play an active role in developing quality and environmental work. The role also includes developing practical use of GIS and optimizing technical solutions. The supervisor is responsible for preparing planning documents and invoicing internal customers for daily and long-term needs. You maintain ongoing follow-up and dialogue with contractors/subcontractors and participate in relevant procurements. The position is primarily administrative. You will work closely with other supervisors within the department to coordinate resources, develop operations, and develop the supervisor's role and function. Job Responsibilities As a care educator, you are responsible for instruction in care and support education within adult education. You plan, implement, and follow up instruction based on applicable governing documents and work to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This role involves varied work where you work closely with production in a diverse and technical environment. You will contribute to safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our process facilities.
