Our team consists of general practitioners, midwives, psychologists, a social worker, and medical secretaries. We work continuously to develop our operations and to inform our healthcare colleagues as well as citizens within Region Skåne about our services. The Trauma Clinic offers person-centered care with high accessibility, based on the best research evidence. The clinic's operations are team-based and structured in two care pathways: - Early intervention care pathway for individuals 18 years and older who have been subjected to sexual abuse and who seek care within the first two months after the abuse. - PTSD care pathway for individuals 16 years and older who have developed post-traumatic stress disorder following sexual abuse, regardless of how much time has passed since the incident. In addition to functioning as a clinical clinic, the Trauma Clinic has a knowledge center mandate in the area of sexual violence and ill health, with the aim of collecting and disseminating knowledge and coordinating related stakeholders. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a specialist physician in general medicine with us, you have a central role in the continued development of the physician function at the clinic. Through your general medicine expertise, you assess ill health following sexual abuse in patients 16 years and older and are responsible for appropriate medical interventions. In your physician role, you perform general medical assessments, are active in developing rehabilitation plans, offer medical treatment, and have an important advisory function toward other staff members. You are also expected to participate in developing the clinic's routines and have a central role in the clinic's knowledge center mandate. This could, for example, involve participating in network meetings and contributing to the development of guidelines and care programs for the target group. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You also have specialist competence in general medicine. Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. You must have completed or have planned a course in clinical supervision. It is meritorious if you have experience working with sexual abuse survivors, intimate partner violence, or patients with post-traumatic reactions. It is also meritorious if you have in-depth knowledge or experience in gynecology, infectious medicine, psychiatry, or addiction medicine. The department The department consists of approximately 30 employees, including 15 radiographers, radiologists, assistant nurses and medical physicists. The unit operates in recently renovated facilities with newly upgraded CT, conventional X-ray, ultrasound and fluoroscopy equipment. An MRI replacement is planned. Both acute and elective imaging are performed. The department collaborates closely with primary care, inpatient services, the emergency department, private healthcare providers, and other radiology units within the county. This ensures a varied and clinically broad workload. Several radiographers have previously been internationally recruited and are now well established locally with their families, contributing to a supportive and inclusive working environment. The hospital serves approximately 27,000 inhabitants locally and around 39,000 in the wider catchment area. The area offers a safe, family-friendly environment with access to schools, childcare, and extensive natural surroundings. The role The position includes standard duties as a licensed radiographer, primarily within: Conventional radiography CT MRI (may become part of responsibilities over time) You will work with both emergency and planned examinations. A structured introduction programme lasting 6–12 months is provided, depending on previous experience, to ensure competence in equipment, routines, and Swedish clinical standards. Collaboration with a nearby radiology unit (approximately 40 minutes by car) may occur. Travel takes place during working hours. Evening standby duty is included. Approximately once per week. You are required to be on site within 30 minutes when on standby duty. Therefore, it is necessary that you either hold a valid driver's license and have access to a car, or live within close distance of the hospital. Chief Physician/Specialist Physician in Psychiatry
Do you want to be part of developing emergency psychiatric care for adults within Prima Nordost's catchment area? We are now recruiting a specialist physician in psychiatry to our psychiatric emergency unit in Danderyd. Patients come to the emergency unit through multiple pathways - via referral from primary care, through assignments from our outpatient clinics, or by the patient or their relatives contacting us directly. Our main task is to assess and manage acute psychiatric conditions, but we also perform care level assessments to some extent. Contacts are generally short-term and follow the emergency unit's mandate, and visits can take place both at the clinic and in the patient's home. The team at the emergency unit consists of nurses, care assistants, and physicians, and you will become part of a multidisciplinary team where each profession's expertise contributes to safe and evidence-based assessments. Qualifications: We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in psychiatry. You are confident in clinical decision-making, have a strong ability to make independent assessments, and are comfortable managing a broad spectrum of diagnoses and acute conditions. Personal qualities: You have good judgment, thrive with changes in pace and varied tasks.
