About the Personal Assistant Role As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday activities and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the customer is located, and your tasks essentially involve assisting the customer so they have the conditions to live the life they wish. Your Responsibilities Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They may include everything from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, housework, cooking, to assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home. What We're Looking For We seek someone who is responsible, attentive, and quick to learn new tasks. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and have access to training about the role of personal assistant. About the Position The employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and compensation is hourly wage. Working hours vary based on the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays and weekends.
