The Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology at Uppsala University has a broad research profile with strong research groups focused on cancer, genetic and autoimmune diseases, among others. HR Administrator
The Department of Surgical Sciences (IKV) is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy. We conduct both research and education at undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels. Research is carried out by approximately 20 research groups organized around different surgical specialties and related subjects, and education takes place within, among others, medical, nursing, and specialist nursing programs. IKV has approximately 140 employees, over 200 registered doctoral students, and roughly 900 people connected to the department in various ways. Many of our employees also have joint positions between the university and the hospital. The administrative support function at IKV currently consists of 16 staff members working in areas such as HR, finance, course administration, communication, and doctoral education. Their shared task is to support the department, its leadership, employees, and students. The HR function's task is to support the department's director, leadership, and employees in all HR-related work in the organization.
