Job Description As a treatment assistant in our residential care facilities, your primary task is to work with motivation and change work, to support our young people in developing towards a more prosocial and healthy lifestyle. This requires you as a treatment assistant to work in a relationship-building manner. Together with your team of committed colleagues such as the treatment manager and psychologist, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. Work tasks are varied and based on the young people's individual goals according to care plans and implementation plans. In addition to treatment work, you play a major role in providing stability and security by supporting young people with schooling, cleaning, cooking, meaningful activities and more. Work shifts extend over 24 hours, with plenty of time off in between. Opportunities for further education and skills development are available. Requirements At least 2 years of post-secondary education focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science or other relevant subject area. At least 1 year of experience in similar work (residential care, SiS, etc.) Valid Category B driving license. Good communication skills in speech and writing (Swedish). You must be able to provide an extract from the suspicion and criminal record register for work in residential care. Qualifications We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and we would like to see that you are unpretentious, reliable and confident. You are flexible, driven and have a knack for taking initiative, while being able to collaborate with your colleagues to ensure that today's planning works. It is good if you have previous experience working in a team or work group. We are looking for individuals with a good ability to inspire and engage others. You need to have a strong belief in people's potential and deep empathy for others, but combined with clarity and the ability to set boundaries. We also value the ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships as well as good communication skills, even in challenging situations.
