Solna Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Seeks Two Specialist Nurses Solna psychiatric clinic serves all persons over 18 years old, registered residents of Stockholm County who require psychiatric care at the specialist level. The clinic is part of Psychiatry Nordväst, a university clinic in the northwestern part of Stockholm County's healthcare region (SLSO). We are a pleasant workplace with high expertise in beautifully renovated facilities at Sankt Eriksgatan 125 in Vasastan. In the same building are several other clinic units such as the Borderline Unit, OCD Unit, Mobile Acute Care, Consultation Unit, and Affective Disorders Clinic. At Solna psychiatric clinic, we work in an interdisciplinary manner in treatment teams, divided into three different base teams and one neuropsychiatric team. We primarily treat patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and neuropsychiatric (NP) disabilities. We place great emphasis on assessment/diagnostics and evidence-based treatment, offering a broad range of treatment options. We are looking for you—a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatry and an interest in working in outpatient psychiatry. Our teams consist of nurses, psychologists, social workers, and specialist psychiatrists. The teams meet in treatment conferences every week. As a nurse, you work closely with your nursing colleagues in daily work. You have regular nursing meetings and supervision together once a month. There are established working methods and routines, while there are also good opportunities to influence how we work at the clinic. Job Responsibilities: Your work includes meeting with patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities for follow-up of treatment, treatment evaluation, side effect monitoring, suicide prevention support with focus on crisis plan follow-up and care plan-based conversations. Your tasks also include scheduled telephone consultation, prescription handling, and medication administration. As a nurse, you also receive new patients with a focus on taking medical history and conducting diagnostic interviews. We collaborate with inpatient care and our neighboring services such as addiction services, and sometimes you participate as a nurse at SIP meetings with social services and other stakeholders. Since we are a university clinic, supervising students who visit the clinic is also part of the role.
