MediCarrier is Region Stockholm's central warehouse and logistics and transport company for healthcare.
Our mission is important for the daily lives of almost a quarter of Sweden's population. Every day, year-round, we create the conditions for our healthcare colleagues to do their work. By ensuring, for example, that important blood samples are transported for analysis and that products such as test tubes, surgical materials, and protective equipment are always in place, we contribute to Region Stockholm's healthcare. It is a responsibility that is not always visible, but is crucial for healthcare to function safely and securely. Without the right conditions at the right time, healthcare stops.
At MediCarrier, you are part of a mission critical to society, in the middle of healthcare's daily operations.
About the Operations
In a time of rapidly changing external conditions, new legislative requirements, national assignments, and clearer responsibility in civil defense, the demands on healthcare to function even during peacetime crises and elevated readiness are increasing. Changed regulatory requirements regarding storage of healthcare products demand a cohesive and integrated IT environment for supply chain management that enables transparency, traceability, analysis, and control of supply flows for healthcare. The goal is to create a unified, secure, and efficient system environment that supports the entire supply chain – from ordering and inventory management to distribution, follow-up, and analysis – and that supports a common logistics design, enables efficient flows and increased automation, and creates conditions for data-driven operations.
Would you like to help future-proof Region Stockholm's supply chain?
