Team Lead Coordinator for Stockholm Reuse Center

Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone who lives here today and in the future. Now we're looking for you who wants to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm. Welcome to us Stockholm City has established a brand new reuse center under municipal management – a place where sustainability, innovation, and collaboration meet. Our ambition is to create something bigger than what has previously existed in Sweden: a center that not only manages resources, but also drives development within the circular economy and new business models. You will be part of driving and developing a municipal operation with a solid foundation, expansive plans, and the opportunity to create real value. We are now looking for a driven, knowledgeable, and well-organized coordinator who wants to help drive our operations. Your workplace will be at Stockholm's Reuse Center in Frihamnen. What we offer you With us, you'll be part of building an operation with major impact and visibility. You will work in close collaboration with other colleagues at the reuse center as well as with the city's departments, companies, and partners. We offer a permanent full-time position (100%) with start date by agreement, collective agreement terms, and a work environment characterized by commitment, openness, and forward-thinking spirit. In your role, you'll learn a lot about Stockholm City's sustainability efforts and have the opportunity to influence Sweden's largest municipality in a more sustainable direction. We offer professional development, wellness allowance, and flexible vacation options. Read more here about Stockholm City's benefits for employees. Your role As coordinator for the Reuse Center, you are responsible for the daily operations of the facility. Together with two reuse coordinators/craftspeople and a unit manager, you form the permanent staff at the reuse center. In addition to this, development projects, thesis work, and work placements take place at the Reuse Center, which means there are often more people in the facilities. The unit manager also has a broader assignment that partially takes place elsewhere, which means the daily operations need to be coordinated. Because the work team is small, it's important that you pitch in wherever needed. The role includes responsibility for sales of the reuse center's services to customers and for building and maintaining supplier relationships and partnerships both internally within Stockholm City and externally. Your area of responsibility also includes coordinating the sale of materials at the reuse center through the digital marketplace and the administration related to this. Your assignment is both strategic and operational and includes: Planning of reuse projects Implementation and quality assurance of reuse inventory Implementation and quality assurance of dismantling Conduct training and receive study visits together with the Reuse Center's other staff Handling incoming materials, storage, and logistics Coordination of material reconditioning Sale of materials, both on-site and via web shop Handling, packing, and distribution of materials to be sent to customers Customer invoicing Monitoring of key performance indicators Customer service Cleaning You have a unique opportunity to shape an operation that will become a model for reuse and the circular economy. The role involves clear team leadership and coordination responsibilities, but does not include financial or personnel management. Your competence and experience We're looking for someone with experience in a leadership or coordination role, and with experience in reusing building materials. You can conduct reuse inventory and are well-versed in the process steps involved in building material reuse. You have experience with operations or projects where multiple stakeholders collaborate. You are accustomed to working with sales, forecasting, and financial monitoring and enjoy combining work in digital tools with operational tasks. Because the work involves some lifting, good physical ability is required. You must have a B driver's license. It's a merit to have experience in: Work within the circular economy, reuse, or environment Sales, business development, or entrepreneurship Work in the public sector or collaboration with municipalities Leading or coordinating operations in development phase Personal abilities and skills To succeed in the coordinator role at the Reuse Center, you need to be organized and communicative. You have a strong ability to build relationships, create trust, and inspire others. You thrive in an environment under development and you're ready to jump in yourself where needed. Your commitment to sustainability and societal development is a natural driving force, and you combine a holistic perspective with the ability to make things happen here and now. We're looking for someone who can create engagement and enthusiasm in the group, while being unpretentious, attentive, and clear. You enjoy working together toward common goals and have an easy way of creating a positive and inclusive work environment. Other We are recruiting without cover letters in this recruitment to strengthen focus on the competencies and experience required for this role. When assessing your application, we will only base our evaluation on your CV and a number of questions you will answer when applying for the position. There are schools where 7 out of 10 students do not meet upper secondary school eligibility requirements. At the non-profit Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen, you contribute your skills and commitment to help more students achieve eligibility requirements with confidence for the future. We are now looking for new homework tutors in Stockholm! We are seeking someone interested in a paid part-time job while making a concrete social impact. The position is an hourly employment in afternoons/evenings and involves working as a homework tutor after school hours at one of our partner schools. You work as part of a team of three tutors, all of whom are college students. You receive training in and work according to our structured approach. Each homework tutoring group consists of 15 students, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the work. As a homework tutor, you can either work as a regular tutor or as a substitute. As a regular tutor, you work 6 hours per week divided over two scheduled afternoons/evenings (with the possibility for extra substitute shifts). As a substitute, you work when regular tutors are on leave or sick. The work is performed after school hours in the school's facilities. We are looking for someone who: - Is a university or college student - Has pedagogical ability and can communicate and build relationships with children and young people - Is solution-oriented, takes initiative, and can work according to our structured approach and method - Has broad foundational subject competence and good study techniques - Shares Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen's values and vision of a society where all children grow up with the conditions to succeed in school and shape their own future Since the job involves working with children, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Providing an extract from the police criminal record registry to the employer is a statutory requirement to work with children and young people. The differences between schools, where you live, where you come from, and what your parents do increasingly determine your likelihood of succeeding in school. Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen is a non-profit foundation that operates where it is most needed. Homework help is free for students, and tutors' salaries are financed through support from the business sector and public sector. Läxhjälpen is a concrete initiative addressing one of Sweden's greatest challenges today - more and more young people are not succeeding in school and risk being excluded from society. Carefully selected, paid college students help young people with their studies two evenings a week and are simultaneously positive role models and mentors. Since our founding in 2007, we have developed a structured approach and a clear goal - to improve grades and help students advance to upper secondary school. Today we operate in over 100 schools in Stockholm, Södertälje, Västerås, Norrköping, Gothenburg, Landskrona, Umeå, Sundsvall, Uppsala, Gävle, and Malmö, among others.
