What you can expect from the position As a Department Manager you are responsible for one of the store's departments, such as Car/Motorcycle/Car Care, Building/Tools or Leisure/Boat/Home/Office/Technology. This means that you are the management team's extended arm out in the business. The responsibility means that you ensure that the department is always in top shape, sales-generating and customer-ready with well-stocked and inviting shelves. You create inspiring seasonal displays, come up with suggestions on which products are suitable for endcaps and cross-selling. Order and tidiness is one of our core values and in this role you ensure that signage and directions are clear and correct. You are also responsible for the department's inventory. An important part of your role is to motivate and engage your colleagues and share your knowledge of the department's products. Together with your colleagues you stock items and coach them to give Biltema's customers the best possible service. You are a team player who values close collaboration with other department managers where you willingly exchange ideas and experiences. Kitchen Assistant Kalmar Folk High School

About You You have a three-year education in restaurant/institutional catering or equivalent training/experience as assessed by the employer. You should have worked several years as a kitchen assistant and have some computer skills. Experience in school kitchens or large-scale kitchens is a plus.
