The Gynecology Clinic is part of the obstetrics and gynecology operations at Visby Lasarett. The obstetrics and gynecology operations encompass obstetric and gynecological inpatient care, postpartum care, gynecology clinic, midwifery clinic, and youth clinic. We currently have approximately 80 employees including nursing assistants, midwives, physicians, registered nurses, and social workers among others. We serve patients with gynecological needs ranging from examinations to various assessments and investigations of different conditions and concerns. As our colleague is retiring, we need you to replace her. Your Responsibilities At our gynecology clinic, you will find tasks such as managing acute patient flow, telephone advice and appointment scheduling, 1177, TeleQ, referral management, assisting in examination rooms, and conducting your own clinic sessions for dressing changes, vaccinations, certain specimen collection, and sometimes intake procedures before surgery, etc. Additional administrative tasks may be included. We also perform certain procedures in-house that you may participate in, and you may also become involved as a contact nurse for our cancer patients in the future. Who Are You? You are a licensed registered nurse and we would appreciate if you have several years of experience in the profession, preferably with experience from clinic work in some form as the work is both independent and team-based. Night Shift Nurse
On the Infectious Diseases and Pulmonary Medicine ward, we care for patients with diseases such as pneumonia, sepsis, wound infections, endocarditis, lung cancer, and COPD. We also care for patients with compromised immune systems or those requiring isolation due to diseases such as tuberculosis. Nurse for Mobile Crisis Team
The Health and Medical Care Administration's psychiatry operations area consists of psychiatric inpatient care, adult psychiatric outpatient care, addiction treatment, and child and adolescent psychiatry. The operations area has approximately 130 employees in total. The operations area's mission is to provide psychiatric specialist care to adults and mental health care to all children and young people up to and including 17 years of age. Psychiatric specialist care is provided at clinics and/or in the home and, when needed, in inpatient facilities.
