At Dalaidyllen, we believe that real change begins in the relationship between children and adults. We are now seeking treatment pedagogues who want to be part of building Dalaidyllen Vik HVB – a new operation within an already established organization. About Dalaidyllen Dalaidyllen has previously operated an established HVB home for children between 8 and 13 years old as well as consultant-supported family foster care. With Dalaidyllen Vik HVB, we are taking the next step in our development and building on the knowledge, experience, and values that already characterize our operations. With us, the security of an established organization is combined with the opportunity to help shape something new. Dalaidyllen Vik HVB receives children and young people between 9 and 14 years old with difficulties in emotion regulation, impulse control, social interaction, and norm-breaking behaviors, often combined with trauma, neuropsychiatric disabilities, or other psychosocial difficulties. We work from a trauma-informed and relational approach where safety, structure, participation, and positive relationships form the foundation for all treatment. About the Position As a treatment pedagogue, you are one of the most important people in the children's daily lives. You meet the children where they are – at the breakfast table, on the way to school, during leisure activities, in difficult conversations, and in the small moments where development actually happens. With us, treatment is not something that only happens in a consultation room. It happens in everyday life, in relationships, and in situations where children have the opportunity to practice new skills with the support of trusted adults. You become part of an engaged team where you together are responsible for creating a safe, predictable, and developmental environment. Responsibilities Create safe and long-term relationships with the children. Work according to implementation plans and treatment goals. Be a contact person for one or more children. Document and monitor children's development. Collaborate with social services, guardians, schools, and other stakeholders. Plan and conduct activities that strengthen children's development, independence, and self-esteem. Contribute to a safe, structured, and meaningful daily life. We are Looking for You If You Are trained as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, social worker, or have equivalent education. Have experience working with children and young people, preferably within HVB, family foster care, or similar operations. Have genuine commitment to children's development. Are secure, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. Have a B driver's license. Meritorious Trauma-Informed Care (TMO). Low-Arousal Approach. Motivational Interviewing (MI). CBT. Dalaidyllen Vik HVB accepts children and young people ages 9-14 with difficulties in emotional regulation, impulse control, social interaction, and behavior problems, often combined with trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other psychosocial challenges. We work from a trauma-informed and relational approach where safety, structure, and strong relationships form the foundation for care and treatment. About the Position As awake night staff, you are responsible for creating a calm, safe, and secure environment during the most vulnerable hours of the day. You work independently but are a natural part of the treatment team. Your presence makes a difference—both by being there when a child wakes up and needs support and by creating the sense of security that allows children to feel safe during the night. You are also responsible for documentation, observations, and handover to day staff to ensure continuity of treatment throughout the day. Duties Create safety and stability during the night. Provide support to children who wake up or need assistance. Observe and document events important for children's ongoing treatment. Perform documentation according to the organization's procedures. Handle practical tasks that are part of night duties. Ensure a good handover to day staff. Contribute to maintaining high quality during the night hours. We Are Looking for Someone Who Hold a qualification as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or equivalent education. Have experience working with children and young people, preferably in an HVB or similar setting. Are calm, composed, and responsible. Have a strong ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions. Hold a driver's license (category B). Meritorious Experience with night shifts. Trauma-Informed Care (TIC). Low-Affect Care. Motivational Interviewing (MI). Experience working with children with trauma and neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience with documentation according to BBIC. Who Are You?
