Lunnevads Folk High School is a meeting place for creativity, reflection, and personal development. We are now seeking an Assistant Principal who wants to lead and develop our operations with special responsibility for the music program and art program, in close collaboration with the regional cultural life and its associations and organizations.
Region Östergötland operates three schools, which are gathered under the Regional Development Committee. Vreta Education Center is located just outside Linköping, Himmelstalund Education Center is located in Norrköping, and Lunnevads Folk High School is located between Vikingstad and Mantorp.
Lunnevad offers a general course, as well as specialized courses in music, dance, and art. Parts of the dance education are held at facilities in Linköping. The opportunity to study the general course is also available at Lunnevad's branch in Mjölby.

Job Description
As Assistant Principal, you have overall responsibility together with the Principal for parts of the school's operations. You are part of the school's management team and have special responsibility for the music program and art program.
The role includes:
• leading and developing the music program and art program,
• personnel responsibility for affected employees,
• responsibility for planning, follow-up, and quality assurance,
• participation in the school's overall management and operations development,
• initiating and developing collaborations with associations, organizations, and actors in dance, art, and music,
• contributing to strengthening the school's role in regional cultural life,
• creating good conditions for participant learning, artistic processes, and personal development.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
• relevant higher education,
• experience in pedagogical leadership,
• good understanding of the folk high school's mission and conditions,
• experience with aesthetic education, preferably in music and/or art,
• ability to build and develop collaboration with external actors,
• good organizational skills and experience working both strategically and operationally.
It is a merit if you have experience collaborating with associations, cultural organizations, or other actors in the dance, art, and music fields.

You have the ability to create commitment, structure, and participation, as well as a genuine interest in folk education, culture, and human development.
