The work is independent and takes place largely in patients' own homes, which means you need to be confident in making independent medical assessments and taking appropriate measures. Work duties include: Independent medical assessments Medication management and dosette preparation Infusions and injections Central vascular access Advanced wound care PCA pumps Guidance and consultation by phone to nursing assistants Requirements You need to: Be a licensed registered nurse Have at least 1 year of experience in municipal home healthcare within the past 3 years Have a class B driver's license and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle Be able to work independently and make your own assessments Be able to work day, evening, and night shifts, Monday–Sunday Be able to staff the entire assignment period.
