We are looking for someone with pedagogical education and/or care and health education such as Nursing Assistant or care assistant/educator, with experience and knowledge in work including low-affective interaction and structured pedagogy. You also need to have knowledge of TAKK, AAC as we work extensively with structure, schedules and visual supports, including Widgit. For us, it is important that the children are doing well and receive the right support and care. As a person, you should be calm, confident, stable and kind to the children living with us. It is important that you are empathetic, relationship-building and have good collaboration skills. WORK TASKS The work includes everything from support with HSL services/medication management, meals, activities, outings and play. Care and assistance with all hygiene is part of the daily work. At our children's home, 5 wonderful children live who need extensive care, security and a meaningful developmental everyday life. We are therefore looking for additional staff members for the night shift! To be a good fit for us, you should have a big heart, strong competence, and experience working with children and young people with disabilities! You will work at our residential facility in Värends Nöbbele. At night, three staff members work together to provide support to five children/young adults. You will never work alone. The positions are 80-85% but we can be flexible according to your wishes. The position starts in January or by agreement. Five young adults live at our facility. The young people who come to us need a lot of support, care, and attention. They need kind adults who can meet them with compassion, competence, playfulness, and warmth. You should have some form of pedagogical or behavioral science education or care and social work education. We want you to have experience working with children and young people who are physically ill and have physical and intellectual disabilities. We also want you to have good knowledge of LAB, TAKK, and AKK. You should be well familiar with various pedagogical support and assistive devices that can make daily life easier for our young people. You should be experienced in documenting in social records and working with implementation plans. Work hours are scheduled for nights. Experience working in a care and educational capacity with our target group is required. A driver's license and access to your own vehicle are required to commute to the workplace. You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written/in social documentation. We welcome more adults to our children's and youth residential home Ekgården in Värends Nöbbele! We want you to have relevant education and to have worked with our target group within LSS previously. We believe you may be trained as a nursing assistant, but are now studying further and want extra work on certain weekends. You will work at our residential home in Värends Nöbbele. You will work two weekends over 6 weeks, but there is an opportunity to work extra in between if needed. We would like you to start as soon as possible. There are currently 5 young people living at our home. The young people who come to us need a lot of support, care, and assistance. They need kind adults who can meet them with compassion, competence, playfulness, and warmth. As someone who will work with us, you need to have relevant education. We want you to have experience working with children and young people who are physically ill and have physical and intellectual disabilities. We also want you to have good knowledge of LAB, TAKK, and AKK. You should be well-versed in various pedagogical supports and assistive devices that can facilitate daily life for our young people. You should have experience documenting in social journals and working with implementation plans. Working hours are primarily scheduled for weekends. The residence is located at Almqvists Väg 15A in Värends Nöbbele, approximately 20 minutes outside Växjö. A driver's license is required to commute to the workplace.
