JOB DUTIES You visit clients in their own homes, which is perfect if you enjoy variety and movement. The work is quite independent and involves supporting clients to live as independently as possible. You work with clients of different ages who need care and/or healthcare in their home environment. Examples of job duties: • social care (walks, companionship, and reassurance measures) • practical assistance (cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation) • personal care (dressing/undressing, transfers, personal hygiene) Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekends. You need to be able to work flexibly, as you step in when regular staff are absent, often with short notice. You collaborate well with others, take responsibility, and have good interpersonal skills. Experience or education in care and healthcare is a merit. We prefer that you have a B-class driver's license and that you can cycle. You need to complete a delegation training program, which is conducted together with a registered nurse. Personal suitability, commitment, and the ability to work collaboratively are key concepts. In home care, you must be able to work independently and take significant responsibility. Training is usually provided by regular staff before you begin working independently. Selections are made on an ongoing basis, so don't delay submitting your application! Nursing Assistant in Home Care

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Your duties as a nursing assistant in home care are creative, enjoyable, and varied. It is rewarding, flexible, and independent work where you meet service users with different support and care needs. You work from the service user's needs and strive for good interactions and collaboration. The work includes: - Personal care - Household-related services - Health and medical care tasks (based on delegation) - Documentation - Coordination and collaboration The work is conducted in collaboration with other professional categories such as rehabilitation staff, care assistants, nurses, benefits assessors, coordinators, and management. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for more competent colleagues who want to work in a team with our engaged and knowledgeable staff within home care in Vårgårda Municipality. Completed healthcare and nursing program or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. For employment as a nursing assistant, the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant is required. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience writing implementation plans. You need a driver's license and the ability to cycle. Home care is undergoing a development process to become a home care service. Part of this work is establishing a functioning approach to fixed care contacts, so we place great importance on your ability to build good relationships with service users and their families. We consider previous experience working in healthcare and care to be advantageous.
