About the position Stortorp Elderly Care Home in Trångsund is located in a scenic park area with beautiful views over Lake Drevviken. Here we offer a calm and pleasant environment where our primary focus is to create a safe, meaningful, and dignified everyday life for our residents. The home consists of two units: Nygården with 47 apartments, of which 29 spaces are adapted for people with dementia, and Ekgården with 40 apartments for people with dementia. We are a Star-marked operation, which means we work systematically and knowledge-based within dementia care. We continuously develop our working methods and strive for high quality, professional conduct, and person-centered care. As a nursing assistant with us, you work in a person-centered manner based on each individual's needs, wishes, and conditions. You plan, implement, and document care and support services with a focus on seeing the person behind the illness. The work is based on the Social Services Act and also includes health and medical services according to the Health and Medical Services Act following delegation from a nurse.
